Welcome to the Rio Grande restaurant and lounge situated in the pristine port of Marina Smir, Tamuda Bay.

We are a family restaurant by day and early evening with a luxurious bar for drinks and cocktails at night. Our menu caters for all tastes with something for everyone. You can enjoy the lightly aromatised dishes of Moroccan cuisine, Spanish delicacies or our 500g T-bone steak for the serious appetite. Our menus are in English, Spanish, French and of course Arabic.

The lounge area, where you can also enjoy bar snacks, is sumptuously furnished with leather seating, sofas and chairs. We have a beautiful dining area inside the restaurant that then leads out into the terraced seating area where you can dine and enjoy the quiet ambience of Rio Grande in the fresh open air.

From the restaurant the views are out to the Marina and to the right the glorious golden sands of the beach area. Behind the restaurant the imposing Rif Mountains look down upon you and the only sounds you will hear are of the birds and relaxing music of the restaurant.

We accommodate for individual diners and up to large parties, reservations can be made (and recommended in the summer months) or just drop by when the moment takes you. Our hours are from 10am till 2am.
